The Last Taboo
Or, How I Learned to Love My Budget
Suze Orman states that fear, shame and anger are the most common emotions surrounding money. What do you think?
We know that secrets get in the way of success. How many shameful secrets do we have about money?
This workshop is focused on exploring beliefs and practices about money, feelings of guilt and shame about money, feelings of entitlement — or un-entitlement. These are some of the questions we could open up:
What is your time worth?
How do partners handle money (a power struggle?)
How do you relate money to happiness?
What about debt?
What is your worst fear about money?
Can a budget actually feel good?
What IS money?
I recently ended a second term as Treasurer of the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society, during which we made big strides in managingt of our finances.
